OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
61
SL, SM & SH 90, 110, 132, 150, 200, 250 &300 (50Hz)
L, H & HH 125, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 & 400 (60Hz)
High I/C Press (IMPERIAL UNITS) –
Occurs if the
intercooler
pressure is greater than 43 psig AND the 1st stage discharge
temp. is greater than the 430
_
F for 150 psig rated units of 410
_
F
for 100 and 125 psig rated units.
This alarm will also occur when the
unit is unloaded and
2APT is greater than 5 psig.
High 2nd Stg Press –
Occurs if
3APT is greater than rated
discharge pressure plus 1 bar (15 psi).
High Line Air Press –
Occurs if
4APT is greater than rated
discharge pressure plus 1 bar (15 psi).
Low Brg. Oil Press –
Occurs if
6OPT is less than 2,27 barg (34 psig)
for 2 seconds and the unit is running
High 1st Stage Temp –
Occurs if
2ATT is greater than the 1st stage
temperature set point.
See operator set points.
High I/C Air Temp –
Occurs if
3ATT is greater than 60
_
C (140
_
F).
High 2nd Stage Temp –
Occurs if
4ATT is greater than the 2nd stage
temperature set point.
See operator set points.
High Brg. Oil Temp –
Occurs if
5OTT is greater than 77
_
C (170
_
F).
Starter Fault 1SL, Starter Fault 2SL –
Occurs if (1) the starter coils
are energized and the auxiliary contact fails to close or (2) the starter
coil is de–energized and the auxiliary contact fails to open. “1SL” is the
fault for 1M contactor. “2SL” is the fault for 2M or 1S contactor. This
alarm is not checked during the first 2 seconds of operation.
Main Motor Overload –
Occurs if motor overload relay contact opens.
Fan Motor Overload –
Occurs if a fan motor overload relay contact
opens.
Remote Stop Failure –
Occurs if the REMOTE START/STOP option
is enabled, the remote stop button remains open and either start button
is pressed.
Remote Start Failure –
Occurs if the unit is started by the remote start
button and the button stays closed for
7 seconds
after the unit starts.
Sensor Failure –
Occurs when a sensor is recognized as missing or
broken. The sensors affected by this alarm are 1AVPT, 2APT, 3APT,
4APT, 6OPT, 2ATT, 4ATT and 5OTT.
High I/C Condensate –
Occurs if COND LEVEL INSTALLED is YES
in the set routine and the condensate level in the intercooler moisture
separator rises to the level of the switch and remains there for
1
minute.
Emergency Stop –
Occurs when the EMERGENCY STOP button is
engaged.
Initial Check Alarms:
The following alarms only occur when the machine is not running.
These alarms are related to high temperature, power loss, and sensor
calibration. They have the same display mode as other alarms.
High 1st Stage Temp –
Occurs if
2ATT is greater than 95% of the
high 1st stage temperature set point.
High 2nd Stage Temp –
Occurs if
4ATT is greater than 95% of the
2nd stage temperature set point.
High Brg. Oil Temp –
Occurs if
5OTT is greater than 72,8
_
C (163
_
F).
CK Control Pwr / Phase –
Occurs if the controller detects a loss of the
110VAC control power.
Check Set Points –
Occurs if the controller has determined that some
of the data stored in memory contains unacceptable values.
Invalid Calibration –
Occurs if the sensor zero value is +/– 10% of its
scale.
2nd Stage Over Ratio –
Occurs when machine is not loaded and the
2nd stage discharge pressure is greater than 3,4 barg (50 psig).
