battery is the only time when opening the instrument is needed and allowed.

To change the battery remove the cover first:

Removing the Cover

1. Disconnect the mains connector.

2. Use a Spanner for notched nut to remove the Probe Connection Port nut (A).

3. Remove the two screws (B) holding the cover (C).

4. Remove the cover (C).
