16.14 Binding the Frame Relay PVC to IP Interface
A newly created permanent virtual circuit (PVC) for Frame Relay has to be bound to an IP interface for
further use. The logical IP interface has to be defined already and should be named according to the use
of the serial Frame Relay PVC. If a serial Frame Relay PVC shall be used as WAN access a suitable name
for the logical IP interface could be

as in Figure 16-1 below.
