Software Update

can perform both upgrades and downgrades for an RM and allows for in-process

status monitoring.

This section briefly describes usage and fields in the

Software Update

menu.

Note:

For detailed instructions on upgrading or downgrading either a standalone or redundant RM,

please refer to the Recording Manager Software Installation, Setup, and Upgrade Guide for this

release.
