Configure the Basic Filtering and Address Filtering for the firewall.
Basic Filtering
Enable or disable basic filtering for the camera this includes:
• ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol) Blocking
• RP (Reverse Path) Filtering
• SYN Cookie Verification.

on the Web User Interface banner to display the setup menus.

Firewall
from the
Security
menu.
The
Basic Filtering
tab displays.

Select the
ICMP Blocking
check box to enable ICMP blocking.
OR
Clear the
ICMP Blocking
check box to disable ICMP blocking. The default setting is
‘Disabled’.

Select the
RP Filtering
check box to enable the RP filtering.
OR
Deselect the
RP Filtering
check box to disable.
The default setting is ‘Disabled’.

Select
SYN Cookie Certification
check box to enable SYN cookie certification.
