The ZZ1103 set
should only be active

The ZZ1103 set is used as a reversing assistance system and should only be
active when reverse gear is engaged�

Set the ZZ1103 set to standby mode via the digital input IN11 of the
BasicController (→ "8.3 Wiring BasicController").
>
The corresponding logic can be set under "I/O module" -> "Standby mode"
in the expert settings (→ "10.1.2 Expert settings"). Depending on the
setting, the logic can react to a low or high�
Switching in and out of standby mode is very fast (< 400 ms).
In standby mode

the configuration wizard is not available,
●
the settings of the 3D sensor cannot be changed�
Recommended settings
for certain vehicles
The following settings are recommended for certain types of vehicles:

Forklift truck or similar
(little soiling and little exposure to weather conditions):
– [Blockage detection]: “high sensitivity”
– [Intelligent averaging]: “off”
– [Low-quality pixel filter]: “weak”
●
Municipal vehicles, airport apron vehicles or similar
(little soiling and heavy exposure to weather conditions):
– [Blockage detection]: “medium sensitivity”
– [Intelligent averaging]: “2 frames”
– [Low-quality pixel filter]: “medium”
●
Construction site vehicles, agricultural machines or similar
(heavy soling and heavy exposure to weather conditions):
– [Blockage detection]: “low sensitivity”
– [Intelligent averaging]: “3 frames”
– [Low-quality pixel filter]: “strong”
The settings are made in the expert settings (→ "10.1.2 Expert settings").
The acoustic and visual
warning reacts with a
delay�
The acoustic and optical warning reacts with a delay if the response time of
the ZZ1103 set is too long� The following settings reduce the response time:

[Intelligent averaging]: “off”
►
Increase the size of the zone in the x direction�
> If increasing the zone size does not reduce the response time, the foresight
of the 3D sensor is probably too low� Reduce the inclination angle of the 3D
sensor�
