7.3 Measuring the inclination angle and height of the 3D sensor
The 3D sensor must be calibrated before it can be used� The inclination angle and the height of the 3D
sensor are required for calibration�

with a smartphone
The simplest way to measure the inclination angle

is to use a smartphone:

Align the smartphone parallel to the straight line marked in red using an app for measuring angles�
> The straight line separates the two housing parts of the 3D sensor�

There is a reference socket (see Fig. 1) on the side of the 3D sensor. The height of the 3D sensor is
measured via this reference socket:
