Sets the parameters for or reads the configuration of an I/O
module.

With the function SLAVE_8_WORK the I/O data for the 8-
channel modules from ifm are updated. To do so, this function
must be called once for each node in the program cycle. In the
first program cycle the input INIT must additionally be set to
TRUE once. Thus the operating system of the plc is informed of
the configured modules.
