Function symbol

Purpose

Sets an individual node or the whole network to the state
"prepared".

Parameters

Function inputs

Function outputs

Description

NMM_SET_PREPARED sets the specified node or the whole
network to the state "prepared" (also see section 6.7). In this
state the node (or the nodes) no longer participates in the PDO
communication. Also, it is no longer possible to communicate
via the SDOs.

.

This state is often utilized for user-specific needs, for example
to temporarily switch off one or all participants from the bus. The
state "prepared" can only be removed by the functions
NMM_SET_PREOPERATIONAL / NMM_SET_OPERATIONAL.
