:NETwork
OFF
Selects point-to-point, addresses or packet
protocol mode for the RS-422/RS-485
interface. When network is enabled, ev-
ery serial message has to be preceded by
a two character, <STX><Addr> sequence.
When packet protocol is enabled, the
2307/2367 only recognizes packets sent
to it at its network address and with the
correct checksum. The 2307/2367 re-
sponds to each valid packet with an ACK
or NAK packet reply. Values are OFF,
ADDRess and PACKet.
:ADDress

Sets network address. Values are 0 to 15
for <Addr> character values of 30 to 3F
hex. Provide 70 ms delay after an ad-
dress change before next command.
Note - The serial address and the GPIB
address are the same parameter. Chang-
ing either one, changes both settings.
:UPDATe

Updates UART with new serial values
and changes operating modes. User must
reprogram the serial controller's COM
port to match 2307/2367's settings after
this command.
RS485
ON
Enables tristating the transmitter when
not transmitting for two wire networks.
Values are ON and OFF. Change takes
place on next data transmission.
