‘CB-05,’ ‘RPT-05’ and ‘CB-35’ channels are used for
emergency.

No voice transmissions are permitted on ‘CB-22’ and
‘CB-23’ (voice operation is inhibited on these channels.)
Receiving and transmitting

Receiving:
Hold down

for 2 seconds to turn ON the power.
• If “T SQL” appears on the display, hold down

for 2 sec-
onds once or twice to cancel the tone squelch or pocket beep.

Select the desired operating channel (p. 14).
