SELCALL (Selective Calling)

Receiving

Receiving an individual call

When receiving a RX code (default setting);

• Beeps sound.

• The received code channel name is displayed, if programmed.

• “

” and the displayed channel name* blink, and the Selcall

mute is released when the Quiet mode is activated.

name is not programmed.

While holding down

When the ID decode function is turned ON, the re-

ceived ID code is displayed instead of the channel name,
and memorised into the transceiver. The function can be
turned ON using the CS-440N

means the Receiving SelCall code. A maximum

of 8 individual call channels can be pre-programmed into
the transceiver using the CS-440N.

You can set the transceiver’s mode when receiving an
individual call using the CS-440N. See the help fi le for
setting details.

Recalling a memorised received ID code

Push

SET

(Function) to enter the Function mode, then hold

down

(ID-MR) for 2 seconds to display the memorised

received ID code.

to select the desired received ID code.

Push [PTT] to transmit the code on the selected channel.

Receiving a Group call

When receiving a Group call (default setting);
