Chapter 4. Guide for raised floor preparation
General information
This chapter provides recommendations and requirements for making the necessary
openings in the raised floor for installation.
The drawings on the following pages are intended only to show relative positions
and accurate dimensions of floor cutouts. They are
not machine templates and are
not drawn to scale.
Raised floor cutouts should be protected by electrically non-conductive molding,
appropriately sized, with edges treated to prevent cable damage and to prevent
casters from rolling into the floor cutouts.
