FC 3993 (ICB-4) provides a 2.0 GBps Integrated Cluster Bus connection to:

ICB-4 connects directly from a z10 BC CPC drawer to an STI port on a processor
book in another system.

ICB-4 uses cable FC 0230 to connect a z10 EC or a z10 BC to a z10 EC or a
z10 BC.
v ICB-4 uses cable FC 0229 to connect a z10 EC or a z10 BC to a z9 EC, z9 BC,
z990 or z890.

ICB-4 uses cable FC 0228 to connect between z9 EC, z9 BC, z990, and z890.
InfiniBand fiber optic links
The HCA2–O feature (FC 0163) supports 12x InfiniBand for coupling
communication between systems. If you are planning to install 12x InfiniBand links,
you will have to place connected servers no further than 150 meters (492 feet) from
each other.
12x InfiniBand provides up to a 6.0 GBps fiber optic connection between z10
servers, and up to 3.0 GBps between z10 and z9 servers. A 12x InfiniBand fiber
optic cable (50 micron multimode OM3) connects directly to an HCA2-O port on a
z10 fanout card and to an HCA1-O port on a z9 fanout card.
