the
following
steps.

Read
the
safety
information
that
begins
on
page
and

Turn
off
the
server
and
all
attached
devices.
3.
Disconnect
all
external
cables
and
power
cords.
4.
Slide
the
server
out
of
the
rack.
5.
Remove
the
cover
(see
6.
If
the
adapter
is
on
the
riser
card,
remove
the
riser-card
assembly
from
the
server
(see
7.
Disconnect
any
cables
from
the
adapter.
8.
Carefully
grasp
the
adapter
by
its
top
edge
or
upper
corners,
and
pull
the
adapter
from
the
PCI
slot.
9.
If
you
are
instructed
to
return
the
adapter,
follow
all
packaging
instructions,
and
use
any
packaging
materials
for
shipping
that
are
supplied
to
you.
