Playing with the HyperHyde
The accessory dry battery is for checking operation. Replace it
with a new battery as soon as possible. Be sure to use an
alkaline dry battery.
Inserting the Battery
R e l e a s e t h e b a t t e r y c o v e r l o c k .
Slide the lock button on the back of the HyperHyde
as shown by the arrow mark in the figure and
release the lock.
R e m o v e t h e b a t t e r y
Slide the battery cover and remove it.
When it is difficult to slide it, catch your fingernail in
the 3-day moon shaped grooves at the end of the
cover and push the cover to remove it.
I n s e r t t h e s i z e A A A a l k a l i n e
Set the battery, being sure that the plus and
minus poles are correctly oriented. Push the
battery into the slot fully until it clicks.
C l o s e t h e b a t t e r y c o v e r .
Align the rail in the battery cover with the
projection on the HyperHyde body, then slide
the cover straight to close it. If the groove and
the projection do not match, the cover will not
snap shut. Push the cover on until the
snapping sound is emitted.

Slide the lock button in the arrow direction
until it is in the state shown in the figure and
lock the battery cover.
