- Before moving the vehicle always check that:
The crane is closed correctly in the transport position (1).
The stabiliser extensions are fully retracted and locked (2). If the extensions are locked using a
pin, this must be inserted perfectly in the extension.
No crane components or accessories are protruding outside the profile of the vehicle, (see
protruding position of hook, 3).
The LED warning light in cabin is green (if present, see B.6.4).

In addition, if a transport position other than the standard configuration is provided (e.g. boom
stowed on the truck body), the user must check that:
- the rotation of boom is locked by a suitable locking device.
- the boom's height in transport position is less than the maximum value permitted by the road
safety regulations (e.g. height < 4m).
