A.2.6 LOSS
OF
STABILITY
Loss of machine stability can cause serious damage to property and injury to persons. Carefully
follow the stabilisation procedure instructions specified in the operator’s manual. Do NOT tamper
with safety devices. Stabilise the crane on firm ground.
WARNINGS
- Check that the parking brake is ON and that the wheels are secured using chocks.
- Check that the stabiliser extensions are fully open (NO CE)
- Make sure that the stabilizer feet are correctly deployed and the ground can support their max.
pressure (see E.5). If it does not, retract the telescopic boom immediately, place the load on the
ground and increase the support surface area of the stabilizer feet using larger support pads
before restarting work.
