If the rope is permanently deformed by crushing, excessive strain, etc., contact an authorised
assistance centre for immediate substitution of the rope.
- During operation always check that the rope is taut and not touching the crane structure or any
component to prevent hazards caused by rope wear. Always operate the winch with the
counterweight.
- Move carefully the booms in order avoid the impact between the load and the crane structure.
- The winch rope must be kept at least 7 m from electric power lines bearing in mind possible rope
oscillation.
