GENERAL PROCEDURES

Workshop Manual  Ed. 07-2012

Start-up relay removal (TE-TXC)

-  Remove saddle and left-hand side panel (in this order) as outlined in the 

relevant paragraphs.

-  Disconnect the negative and positive cables of the battery.

-  Disconnect the starter motor positive cable (1) from the solenoid starter.

-  Disconnect the connector (2) and remove the solenoid starter (3) from its 

mount.

Condenser 

  This operation must be performed with a cool engine.

-  Cut the clamp (1) and disconnect the connector (2).

-  Pull outwards the condenser (3) so that it comes out of the supporting bracket 

(4).
