ENGINE DISASSEMBLY

Workshop Manual  Ed. 07-2012

-  Place the wormshaft (4) assembly in a vice with aluminium jaws, loosen the 

nut (5) using a 10 mm T-wrench and slide out the wormshaft (4).

   Upon reassembly of the locking nut (5), fit the washer (9) in the right 

position and tighten the nut (5) to a torque of 8 Nm - 0.8 Kgm - 5.90 

ft-lb + Loctite 270.

-  Remove the freewheel (6).

-  Remove the needle roller bearing (7) and the thrust ring (8).
