Workshop Manual Ed. 07-2012

Exhaust system check

Perform a visual inspection of the exhaust system first, in order to identify pos

sible gas leaks from the sealing elements (gaskets), and to ensure that the

Silent-Blocks are not damaged.

Subsequently, inspect the single components by disassembling the exhaust

system.

In addition to this, check the tightening of the screws (1) of the flanges and the

tightening of the screws (2) that strap the silencer to the respective supports.

The damaged or broken parts must be replaced.
