Step 3 Set the login parameters.
The parameters should be set as follows:

Host Name (or IP address): Enter the IP address of the destination server
node or HMM as required, for example, 10.10.1.104.
●
Port: Retain the default value 22.
●
Connection type: Retain the default value SSH.
●
Close window on exit: Retain the default value Only on clean exit.
Set Host Name and Saved Sessions, and click Save. You can locate and double-click the
saved record in Saved Sessions to log in to the server in future.
Step 4 Click Open.
The PuTTY window and login as: are displayed, and you need to enter a user
name.
