SAS/SATA drive indicators

State Description
Drive fault indicator
l
Steady yellow: The drive is not detected, the drive is faulty,
or the RAID array status of the drive is abnormal.
l
Blinking yellow: The server is locating the drive or
rebuilding RAID.
l
Off: The drive is operating normally.
NOTE
If the fault indicator is steady yellow, use the OS CLI to check the
RAID status to determine whether the RAID array status is abnormal
or whether the drive is faulty. For details about command description,
see the

Drive activity indicator
l
Steady green: The drive is inactive.
l
Blinking green: Data is being read from the drive, written to
the drive, or synchronized between drives.
l
Off: The drive is not detected or is faulty.
