Select the NVMe SSD to be removed.

" message is displayed, as shown in

Success message
If a success message is displayed, you can hot remove the NVMe SSD. If a failure message
indicating the OS is accessing the NVMe SSD is displayed, stop related services before
clicking
eject
again. You can hot remove the NVMe SSD only when a success message is
displayed.
Step 6
Click
OK
.
Step 7
Observe the NVMe SSD indicators. When the green indicator is off and the yellow indicator
blinks at 0.5 Hz, slowly remove the NVMe SSD.

Step 1
If the server runs RHEL 7.3, upgrade the kernel to support orderly hot swap of NVMe SSDs.
Upgrade the kernel of RHEL 7.3 to kernel-3.10.0-514.26.2.e17.x86_64 or later.

Log in to the server whose OS kernel is to be upgraded as
root
.

Check the current kernel version.
