Prerequisites

A spare gas release indicator of the same model is available and functional.

Impact on the System

The fire extinguishing system stops working during the replacement.

Prerequisites

Tools: Phillips screwdriver, protective gloves, step ladder, flat-head screwdriver

Material: spare gas release indicator

Document: fire extinguishing device layout diagram (standard)

Skill requirement: fire engineer

NO TICE

Before replacing the gas release indicator, inform the related administration

department of the temporary downtime of the fire extinguishing system. After the

replacement, inform the administration department that the system has become

operational.

Procedure

Step 1 Switch off the active and standby power supplies to the fire alarm control panel.

Step 2 Remove the screws shown in

Figure 4-70

using a Phillips screwdriver, and remove

the panel.
