Syncing your contacts
Set up HTC Sync Manager to sync HTC Desire VC with your Outlook, Outlook Express,
or Windows Contacts.
You can sync HTC Desire VC with the following Outlook versions: Outlook XP, Outlook
2003, Outlook 2007, and Outlook 2010.
If you want to sync contacts from your UIM or SIM card with your computer, you
have to import them first into the People app on HTC Desire VC.
1.
On the DEVICE DETAILS screen, click
next to the People item.
2.
Choose the application you want to sync your contacts from.
3.
In cases when conflicting information is found on both HTC Desire VC and your
computer, choose which contact data you want to keep.
4.
Click
Done
to save your sync settings.
5.
Click the
On
button next to the People item.
Only the contact fields that are in the People app of HTC Desire VC will be synced.
Syncing your calendar events
Set up HTC Sync Manager to sync HTC Desire VC with your Outlook Calendar or
Windows Calendar on your computer.
You can sync HTC Desire VC with the following Outlook versions: Outlook XP, Outlook
2003, Outlook 2007, and Outlook 2010.
1.
On the DEVICE DETAILS screen, click
next to the Calendar item.
2.
Select the application you want to sync calendar events from.
3.
Choose from when you want to start syncing calendar events.
4.
In cases when conflicting appointments are found on both HTC Desire VC and
your computer, choose which data you want to keep.
5.
Click
Done
to save your sync settings.
6.
Click the
On
button next to the Calendar item.
Only the data fields that are in HTC Desire VC Calendar will be synced.
