Description
Comm Manager
Easily toggle the modem and Direct Push functions on
or off. You can also turn on Flight Mode, when needed.
Connection Setup
Configure the data connection, such as 3G or GPRS
connection, based on the detected or selected network operator.
Connections
Manually set up several types of modem connections,
such as dial-up, 3G and GPRS, so that you can connect to the Internet
through one connection when another connection becomes unavailable.
Device Information
See information about the SnapVUE firmware.
E-mail Account Settings
Select which e-mail accounts you want to
display or hide from the Home screen. See Chapter 4 for details.
GPRS Setting
Set the GPRS authentication method.
HSDPA
Turn High Speed Data Packet Access (HSDPA) on or off. HSDPA
is a 3.5G digital data service that provides high-speed downstream data
rates. In order for your device to attain the high connection speed of
HSDPA, your wireless service provider must support this feature and
you must be within the coverage area of your service provider’s HSDPA
network.
Note
The Mobile Computer supports up to 3.6 Mbps download speeds.
Input
Set options for each of the input methods.
Lock
Set a password for SnapVUE.
Power
Check the remaining battery power.
Screen
Calibrate the screen, enable ClearType for enhanced font display,
or change the screen text size.
SIM
Customize USIM/SIM card settings, such as PIN number.
SMS Service
Set SnapVUE to send SMS text messages via a data
connection, such as GPRS or a circuit-switched connection.
Tasks
Create a task list and keep track of unfinished tasks.
