Teaming Mode
The following are the modes of network teaming:
• Switch Independent: In this mode, the switches are not aware that different
interfaces on the server comprise a team. All the teaming is done exclusively
on the server.
• LACP: Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) dynamically identify links that
are connected between the host and a given switch which enables the creation
of the Network Team.
• Static: This is a Switch Dependent mode which requires the switch to
participate in teaming.
Load Balancing
Load balancing allows you to manage two or more servers as single cluster. This
action distributes traffic across several servers by using the TCP\IP networking
protocol. The following are the Load Balancing options available:
• Transport Ports
• IP Addresses
• MAC Addresses
• Hyper-V Port
• Dynamic
Team Members
Name
Name of the network team member using which the user identifies the network
team member.
State
State of the network team member.
Link Speed
The speed of the interface.
Administrative Mode
The active network traffic uses the network interface, if the administrative mode is
active. If the administrative is Standby, the network interface will be used if there is
any interface failure.
Network Team Interfaces
Name
Name of the network team.
State
State of the network team.
Link Speed
The speed of the interface.
