Before removing the keyboard, follow these steps:

1.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

2.

Remove the service cover (

).

3.

Remove the battery (see 

Battery on page 41

).

Remove the speakers:

1.

Remove the three Phillips M2.5 × 6.0 screws (1), identified by the keyboard icon (2), that secure the 
keyboard to the computer.

2.

Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (3) to which the pointing stick cable is connected, and then 
disconnect the cable from the connector.
