To install Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups 3.11
This section is not intended to replace your Windows documentation. Please refer
to your Windows documentation for specific instructions.
1. Insert the Windows Setup Disk 1.
2. Type A:\SETUP at the MS-DOS prompt.
3. Press Enter for Express Setup, or press C for Custom Setup (experienced users).
4. Follow the instructions as they appear.
Important If you are installing Windows for Workgroups, do not install networking at this time.
Follow the instructions in the application notes for the network card you are using.

5. At the Network Setup dialog box, click Continue.
6. Click OK to accept the MS-DOS Editor.
7. Click Skip Tutorial.
8. Remove the floppy disk and click Restart Computer.
To install Windows 3.x device drivers
This procedure edits your AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, CONTROL.INI,
PROGMANN.INI, WIN.INI, and SYSTEM.INI to support OmniBook 800 devices and
creates a backup of the original files. This program will install device driver support
for:

Video.
•
Sound.
•
SCSI.
•
PC card with CardBus and Zoomed Video support.
•
Power management.
•
Mouse.
•
Infrared (Windows for Workgroups only).
