to manually assign the IP address information. The interface
prompts you to enter an IP address, subnet mask, default router address,
and time to live. These parameters are defined under “IP Configuration
Parameters” earlier in this chapter.
Type in each value at the appropriate prompt and press [Enter] to see the
next prompt. Figure 3-2 shows you how the address assignment process
appears.

After entering the Time To Live value, the console prompts you with:
Change and save to new IP configuration?([Y]/N):

Y
to save all of the values you have set. The console then returns
you to the IP Configuration screen. Note the new address, Subnet Mask,
Default Router, and Time To Live values that you have set and verify that
they are correct.
Your hub is now ready to be managed as a network device through the Browser
Interface, or through HP ASA or other network management tools. To find out
how to run the Browser Interface, see chapter 4, “Running the Browser
Interface”. For details on how to manage your hub from HP ASA or HP
OpenView, see the online help in those applications.
