2.5.1 Cabling
For HP Cluster Platform solutions, all cables for rack-mount components in the HP 10000 Series
42U rack will be routed down the opposite side from where the HP Modular Cooling System is
mounted. The MCS is typically mounted on the left-hand side of the 10000 Series 42U Rack, but
is not restricted to that mounting position. Cables from rack-mounted components such as servers,
server blade enclosures, and interconnect devices are routed down the opposite side from where
the MCS is mounted to not block the airflow and cooling provided by the MCS unit.
