Deleting Passwords — When pressed by itself for at least 1 second, the button deletes any
switch console access passwords that you may have configured. Use this feature if you have
misplaced the password and need console access.
•
Restoring Factory Default Configuration — When pressed with the Reset button in a specific
pattern, any configuration changes you may have made through the switch console, the
Web browser interface, and SNMP management are removed, and the factory default
configuration is restored to the switch. For the specific method to restore the factory default
configuration, see Chapter 3 of the HP ProCurve Switch 2610 Series Installation and Getting
Started Guide.
2.6.1.8 Rear of the HP ProCurve 2610-48 and 2610-24 Switches
The HP ProCurve 2610-48 and 2610-24 switch models have a power connector, but do not have
a power switch. They are powered on when connected to an active AC power source. The switches
automatically adjust to any voltage between 100-127 volts and 200-240 volts at either 50 or 60
Hz. There are no required voltage range settings.
HP ProCurve 2610-48 and 2610-24 switch models are connected to the 0U PDU attached to the
HP 10000 Series rack. The RPS slot lets you connect the switch to an optional redundant power
supply.
