HP 85106D mm-Wave System

Service and Troubleshooting

Turn On System Power and Observe Instrument Front Panels

Instrument State 8 is recalled each time the HP 8510 ac line power is
turned ON. The Machine Dump file loads this register with an appropriate
full-band sweep. Since the hardware state is not modified at power-up,
the system can be configured to power up in any particular frequency range
by saving the desired instrument state in register number 8. Press the green
[

USER PRESET

] key on the front of the HP 8510C to recall “Instrument

State 8”.
