How to Change the Characteristics 
of a Port

You can:

•

Delete the port

•

Rename the port

•

Add terminals to the port

After one or several of the port terminals have been connected to 

instrument connectors, you can also

•

Disconnect all terminals

•

Set or change the port parameters

How to Delete a Port

To delete a port:

Open the port’s context window.

Choose 

Delete

Confirm.

How to Rename a Port

To rename a port:

Open the port’s context window.

Choose 

Rename

.

Overwrite or edit the old name.

4

Confirm with Enter.

How to Add a Terminal to a Port

To add a terminal to a port:

Open the port’s context window.

Choose 

Insert Terminal

.

The window shows the default terminal name (port name plus number) 

and suggests the next higher position.

Keep or edit the terminal name.
