7. Hitching and unhitching
the machine
Pay attention to chapter “1. Safety” when hitch-
ing and unhitching the machine.
WARNING
Danger of crushing by accidental start-
ing and unintended rolling of tractor and
machine when hitching or unhitching
the machine!
Secure tractor and machine against unintended
starting and accidental rolling away before you
enter into the danger zone between tractor and
machine for hitching up or unhitching.
WARNING
Danger of crushing between rear of
tractor and machine when hitching or
unhitching the machine!
Operate the actuating components for the hy-
draulic system on the tractor

only from the dedicated work place.

never as long as you are inside the danger
zone between tractor and machine.
WARNING
Danger caused by positive or negative
drawbar load of the machine

Hitching up:
Hitch up the machine first. Then
raise the support to transport position.

Unhitching:
Lower the support first. Then
unhitch the machine.
7.1 Hitching up the machine
WARNING
Danger of breakage during operation,
insufficient stability and inadequate
steering and braking ability of the trac-
tor if used for purposes other than the
ones it is intended for!
Only hitch or connect the machine to tractors
which are suitable for this purpose.
WARNING
Danger of crushing between tractor and
machine when hitching up!
Before backing up to the machine have persons
removed from the danger zone between tractor
and machine.
Any persons present should only act as instruc-
tors besides tractor and machine and should
only enter the danger zone between the vehicles
after the tractor has stopped.
WARNING
Persons may be endangered by crush-
ing, being caught, pulled in and impact,
if the machine accidently disconnects
from the tractor!
1. Use any dedicated facilities for connecting
tractor and machine as intended.
2. Check visually whether the connection is
correctly interlocked.
CAUTION
Danger of damage to the high pressure
cleaner and loss of oil!
When using tractors
without Load-Sensing
hydraulics (LS)
, connect the lines for supply
and return flow correctly.
