8.6.3 Draining off technical
residual quantities
For draining off residues there is a shut-off valve
installed on the left and a connection on the right
on the underside of the machine.

Take off the covering cap.
¾
Drain the residual quantity off into a suitable
vessel. For this purpose open the mechanical
lock valve (position (a)).
¾
Close the lock valve (position (b)).
Close the connection with the covering
cap each time it has been opened.
8.6.2 Diluted residual quantities
Use the settling method when diluting and spray-
ing out residual quantities from the solution tank
after the end of spraying operation.
Procedure:
1. Spray the undiluted residual quantity from
the spraying line on an untreated residual
area.
2. Activate the “Air-Valve” function (option);
activation see chapter 9.1.4.1.
3. Dilute the residual quantity in the solution
tank with 200 litres of fresh water.
4. Spray the diluted residual quantity also on
an untreated residual area.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for a second (if neces-
sary a third) time.
6. Check the tank through the filling dome.
Diluting the residual quantity
1. Switch off the nozzles.
2. Switch on the spraying pump
3. Switch on the agitator.
4. Switch the terminal for 15 seconds over to
fresh water.
Now fresh water circulates through the noz-
zle tube and dilutes the residual quantity in
the tank with fresh water.
5. Switch off the agitator.
In case of multiple nozzle systems all exist-
ing nozzles must be opened for cleaning.
There is a risk of deposits if this instruction
is not followed!
