3.5 Spraying pump
The crop protection sprayer is equipped with a
centrifugal pump for the spraying system. The
pump is hydraulically driven via a proportional
valve and adjusts to the required quantities.
When the induction hopper or the internal clean-
ing is activated, the pump automatically runs with
its maximum capacity.
For pumps used require no pulsation dampen-
ing, because centrifugal pumps generate con-
tinuous flow and pressure.
The pump is almost completely maintenance
free and is equipped with a dry running protec-
tion. The pump must never be operated without
fluid, since this would damage the seals.
Fill the pump with fluid before initial
commissioning and after each drain-
ing before switching on.
All fluid residues must be drained off
in order to protect the pump against
frost damage.

The pump has an oil filled cavity as dry running
protection and for cooling.

Check the pressure gauge (4) every week
(2 bar).
¾
In case of a pressure drop check the oil level
and top up, if necessary (oil must be visible
in the inspection glass (3)).

Change the oil if it is cloudy or discoloured.
Washing gun
The washing gun for cleaning the induction hop-
per after filling can be found inside the storage
door. Apart from this, deposited residues can be
flushed out of the canister.

To control the handle actuation press the
button (20) during operation.
¾
Operate the handle to loosen.
¾
After switching off (19, previous page) relieve
the residual pressure.
