7.3.5.4  Restarting the Module (Reboot Device / Hardware Reset) 

 

 

The restart concerns the Module 8029NTS only but 

not

 the Sync Source 

(here Module 8024GPS). 

 

Reboot Device

: Restart of the internal Operating System 

 

 

Hardware Reset

: Board Reset including all Hardware components 

 

 

 

All settings 

not

 saved with "

Save

" are lost on reboot (see 

Chapter 7.2.3

Moreover the 

NTP service

 implemented in the system is restarted. This leads to a renewed 

alignment phase with the loss of the stability and accuracy reached up to this point.
