Connect the two printhead cables to the new printhead.

As you insert the new printhead bracket into the printer, make sure
the metal arms on the printhead go around the magnetic pressure
arm bar. Attach the magnetic pressure arm to the printhead.

Replace the media (and ribbon) in the printer.

Turn the printhead lift lever clockwise to lower it.Close the media
cover, reconnect power, and turn on the printer.
Replace the Platen Roller
Replace the platen roller if it is damaged or worn out. You can store a
spare platen roller under the media hanger. Insert the platen roller into
the hole under the media hanger and turn the latch counterclockwise to
secure it to the base.

Turn off the printer and disconnect the printer from power.

Open the media cover.

Remove the media.

Turn the printhead lift lever counterclockwise to raise the printhead.
