Select the settings that you want to restore to their default values:
•
Network settings: Restores the current network settings.
•
User files: Restores all files you installed on the printer,.
•
System Settings: Restores all system settings.

Restore
. A message appears prompting you to reboot the
printer.

Click
OK
.

Restart your printer.
Restore Default Settings with a Hardware-Based
Reset
You can perform a hardware-based reset to restore all default settings.

Turn the printer off, and open the media cover.

Turn the printhead lift lever counterclockwise to raise the printhead.

Press and hold the
button and turn the printer on.

When the status bar is almost full, release the
button.
All settings are restored to their default values.

Turn the printhead lift lever clockwise to lower the printhead and
close the media cover.
How to Upgrade the Printer Firmware
You should check for periodic updates to the printer firmware. Updated
firmware can include bug fixes and new features. The latest version of
the firmware is available from the printer software tab page on

After you upgrade the printer firmware, Honeywell recommends
that you restore the default settings and calibrate the media sensors.
