Sectors
¨
There can be up to 32 sectors per loop
¨
a sector is a collection of devices on the same loop having a common action.
¨
a sector that is actioned ON will activate its alarm devices, such as interface outputs, S cubed and alarm sounders.
¨
a sector can be configured to give one of three signals
•
Signal 1 Alert (priority 3)
•
Signal 2 Evacuate (priority 2)
•
Signal 3 Continuous (priority 1)
¨
sectors 1-28 operate automatically with ‘Sound Alarms’ and ‘Silence Alarms’ buttons
¨
a sector (any one of 1-28) that is configured for NO action on ‘Sound Alarms’ button will be silenced on operation
of the ‘Reset’ button
¨
the sectors 29-32 are independent of the ‘Sound Alarms’ button and are primarily used with Fixed Extinguishant
interface product which is not no longer supported. However the sectors 29-30 can be configured to normal sector
operation.
¨
sensors, call points and interface inputs may be assigned to more than one sector.
¨
a loop powered interface is assigned to a sector and consequently the inputs and outputs lines of
that interface will
be assigned to the same sector.
¨
alarm sounders, OHS and interface outputs are restricted to one sector only.
¨
There can be up to 10 Voice Alarm Zones.
¨
Voice alarm zone are push button switches on the control panel that can be assigned to Sectors.
¨
Any normal Sector (1-28) can be assigned to any voice alarm zone (1-10)
