INSPECTION
CAMSHAFT HOLDER I.D.
CRNKCASE COVER SIDE
Measure the camshaft holder I.D. of the crankcase
cover.
If the measurement is more than the service limit,
replace the crankcase cover (page 15-3).
CYLINDER BARREL SIDE
Measure the camshaft holder I.D. of the cylinder barrel.
If the measurement is more than the service limit,
replace the cylinder barrel (page 15-4).
CYLINDER SLEEVE I.D.
Measure and record the cylinder I.D. at three levels in
both the “X” axis (perpendicular to crankshaft) and the
“Y” axis (parallel to crankshaft). Take the maximum
reading to determine cylinder wear and taper.
If the measurement is more than the service limit,
replace the cylinder barrel (page 15-4).
STANDARD: 14.000 – 14.018 mm
