The ‘‘trailer nose load’’ should
never exceed 75 kg (165 lbs)/
60 kg (132 lbs) on Australian
model. This is the amount of
weight the trailer puts on the
towbar when it is fully-loaded. For
a trailer weight of less than 750 kg
(1,653 lbs)/600 kg (1,323 lbs) on
Australian model, as a rule of
thumb, the trailer nose load
should be 10 percent of the total
trailer package.
Your car has been designed
primarily to carry passengers and
their luggage. You can use it to tow a
trailer if you carefully observe the
load limits, use the proper equipment,
and follow the guidelines in this
section.
The total weight of the trailer and
towbar (with/without brakes) plus
its luggage must not exceed the
