The HFT system can store up to 50
names and phone numbers in its
phonebook. With a linked phone, you
can then automatically dial any name
or number in the phonebook.
Here are the main components of
the HFT system:
The HFT system microphone is on
the ceiling console. The microphone
is shared with the navigation system.
When the HFT system is in use, the
sound comes through the car’s front
audio system speakers. If the audio
system is in use while making a call,
the HFT system over-rides the audio
system. To change the volume level,
use the audio system volume knob.
Here is the function of each HFT
button:
HFT Talk: This button is used
before you give a command, to
answer incoming calls, and to
confirm system information.
HFT Back: This button is used to
end a call, go back to the previous
voice control command, and to
cancel an operation.
To operate the HFT, use the HFT
Talk and Back buttons on the left
side of the steering wheel. Below the
HFT buttons is another set of voice
control buttons for the navigation,
climate control, and audio systems.
