Tuning Procedure
Manual Tuning Procedure
Repeatedly tap UP/DOWN switches (5) until the desired
station is reached. Each time the tuning switch is pressed,
the frequency changes at an interval. Tap the tuning switch
[UP] to increase the frequency. Tap the tuning switch
[DOWN] to decrease the frequency.
Automatic Search Function
Press and hold one UP/DOWN switch (5) for more than
half a second, then release. Automatic search stops when
a station is received. Tap the tuning switch [UP] to increase
the frequency. Tap the tuning switch [DOWN] to decrease
the frequency. In order to deactivate the automatic search
function while it is operating (while searching the next
available frequency station), simply tap UP/DOWN switch
(5) again. If the receiving radio waves are weak, i. e. such as
when the machine is located between high rising buildings,
etc., use the manual tuning procedure to select the desired
station.
Station Presetting Procedure
1. Select the desired station by using UP/DOWN switches
(5). Refer to the "Tuning Procedure" in the previous
section.
2. Press and hold one preset switch (4) for more than 1
second. The current station is preset to the selected
number of switch. When the station is preset, the preset
No. (such as "P-1") blinks three times on display (7). Once
the presetting is complete for a preset switch (4), the
radio will be tuned to the preset station when a preset
switch (4) is pressed. To change the preset station, follow
the same procedure described in the station presetting
procedure.
Memory of preset station is erased
When the radio is disconnected from the battery during
machine maintenance or the radio removal, station
memories in the preset switches will be erased. In this case,
preset stations again.
