Refer to “4-3-5 Cleaning BD/DVD
and optical pickup” and clean the
BD/DVD. Or replace the BD/DVD.
Appears when a DVD-RAM/DVD-RW
initialized on PC, etc., or a card whose
initialization was suspended before, is
loaded.
Choose “YES” and designate it to
initialize the DVD-RAM/DVD-RW
(deleting all recorded data).
Disc error has occurred.
Formatting is not complete.
Appears when the BD/DVD could not be
normally formatted because it was dirty.
Refer to “4-3-5 Cleaning BD/DVD
and optical pickup” and clean the
BD/DVD. Or replace the BD/DVD.
Also appears when a warped or distorted
BD/DVD was loaded, or a logically dam-
aged
BD/DVD whose formatting was suspend-
ed is loaded.
Replace the BD/DVD.
Disc error has occurred.
Keep disc inside & restart.
Appears if a problem has occurred dur-
ing editing of movie
fi
le.
Terminate the disc navigation func-
tion, turn the power switch to "OFF"
with the BD/DVD loaded: Disconnect
the AC adapter/charger and then
reconnect it, and turn the power
switch to the "BD/DVD" mode. (The
camcorder will automatically repair
movie
fi
le.)
Disc error has occurred. Turn
the power switch off once
and then set it to "BD/DVD".
Appears when BD/DVD error occurred
during dubbing, and a
fi
le could not be
written.
Turn the power switch to "OFF",
Disconnect the AC adapter/charger
and then reconnect it, and turn the
power switch to the "BD/DVD" mode.
(The camcorder will automatically
repair the movie

Un

nalizing is not complete.
Appears when the BD/DVD could not be
normally formatted because it was dirty.
Refer to “4-3-5 Cleaning BD/DVD

BD/DVD. Or replace the BD/DVD.
Appears when an accident, such as
power off, occurred during un
fi
nalizing.
Turn the power switch to "OFF",
disconnect the AC adapter/charger
and then reconnect it, and turn the
power switch to the "BD/DVD" mode.
Reinsert the BD/DVD, and then
un
fi
nalize it.
If no recovery is made even when the
BD/DVD is cleaned or un
fi
nalized again,
the BD/DVD may be defective.
Replace the BD/DVD.
Disc has no image.
Appears when playback or editing is
attempted using the Disc Navigation
function with no scene recorded on BD/
DVD.
Operate the camcorder after the mes-
sage disappears.
Disc has no Play List.
Appears if switching of play list is
selected with no play list registered.
Operate the camcorder after the mes-
sage disappears.
