8.5 Discarding the Instrument

When disposing of this instrument, remove
the lithium battery and dispose of battery
and instrument in accordance with local
regulations.

Removal of Lithium Battery

Tools: Phillips screwdriver, hexagonal

wrench, and tweezers

Turn off power to the tester and remove
the AA batteries and battery pack.

Remove the four set screws on the rear of
the tester and remove the lower casing.

tester again by installing a new lithium
battery.
