Under certain circumstances it might be necessary to reset all
the parameter settings of the device to their factory default set-
tings.

Click
“Start Factory Reset”
( Fig. 62/1) to reset the parameters
to the default settings of the installed firmware version.

Follow the instructions. After reboot, the user interface usually
opens up automatically to enable further configuration. This
doesn't happen with network setting changes.
n
A factory reset can also be done using the reset pin off the I/O-
port (
).
Customers can request a device to be factory configured to use no
live view as a security option. The privacy image is an artificial cal-
culated image of the empty scenery. The image is without any per-
sons or temporary objects.

Click
“Reset Privacy Image”
( Fig. 63/1) to generate a new
image from the actual view.

The privacy image is optional used in some diagnosis.

“About”
category gives system information. Combined with
“Diagnosis Data”
,this can be very useful for customer support
purposes.
“Device Information”
shows Serial Number (same as MAC hard-
ware address), Hardware Type (circuit board) and Firmware Ver-
sion.
Some additional features of the device require installed licenses.
“Installed License”
shows all licenses with their status of validity.
